Man Charged With Two Florissant Burglaries in February

Florissant Police said Barry Anderson and another man broke into homes on Sir Christopher Lane and Santiago Drive.

A man faces criminal charges on two burglaries in Florissant in February.

Barry Anderson, 26, of the 5700 block of Cates Avenue in St. Louis, was charged March 2 with two counts each of second-degree burglary and felony theft.

Florissant Police said Anderson acted with another man on both burglaries. Charges have not yet been filed on the second suspect.

Feb. 1, the two entered a home in the 3000 block of Sir Christopher Lane and stole designer purses, a laptop, a flat-screen television and an iPad, police said.

On Feb. 15, police reported that Anderson acted as a lookout as the other man entered a home in the 2900 block of Santiago Drive and stole a PlayStation 3, a flat-screen TV and a computer.

Anderson posted 10 percent of a $20,000 bond and was released from St. Louis County jail March 13. He had been arrested on a warrant March 4.
