Man Charged With Breaking Into Two Florissant Businesses

Florissant Police said Rocco Mantro stole cash from Mame African Hair Braiding and ABC Wireless on Dunn Road.

A man was charged with breaking into two Florissant businesses and stealing cash.

Rocco Kurtis Mantro, 30, of the 1400 block of West Duchesne Dr. in Florissant, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and two counts of misdemeanor theft.

Florissant Police said Mantro broke into a building at 1249 Dunn Rd. at approximately 12:50 a.m. Jan 8. Police said he entered two suites, one occupied by Mame African Hair Braiding and another by ABC Wireless. Mantro is accused of stealing $100 from the hair braiding business and $40 from ABC Wireless.

Mantro is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $15,000.

Mantro previously served one year in jail after pleading guilty to second-degree burglary, theft—also in Florissant—and possession of a controlled substance.
