Man Burglarized Two Neighboring Florissant Homes, Police Say

Florissant Police said Michael Bornnard stole items from the two homes on the Fourth of July.

A 17-year-old man broke into two neighboring Florissant homes on the 4th of July and stole electronics and liquor, police said.

Michael Bornnard, 17, of the 2600 block of Freemantle Drive in Florissant, was charged Aug. 29 with two counts of second-degree burglary, felony theft and misdemeanor theft.

Florissant Police said Bornnard broke into a home in the 2700 block of Dove Drive between 3 and 11 p.m. July 4 and stole two flat-screen televisions, a Dell laptop computer and several small bottles of Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur.

Police said Bornnard broke into another home in the 2700 block of Dove Driven between 3 p.m. July 4 and midnight and stole a Hewlett-Packard laptop.

Bornnard is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $50,000.
