Florissant police as well as St. Louis County police are investigating a burglary that took place Friday morning at the Johnny Londoff Chevrolet dealership.
According to an interview with Fox 2 News, owner Johnny Londoff Jr. reported approximately six cars had been stolen overnight and a number of offices ransacked. Police as well as the dealership are continuing to do an inventory of the lot.
Florissant police noticed a breach in the dealership’s security fence at 5:15 a.m. Friday, according to department spokesman Officer Andy Haarman. Officers found the service department door had been forced open and offices had been raided.
Police discovered that a car that had reported stolen from the Lou Fusz dealership on Page and Lindbergh was at the Londoff dealership. Police are investigating the possible connection between the two.
OnStar in the cars has helped in finding a majority of the stolen cars, Londoff Jr. said during the interview. He’s hoping that they’ll be recovered and returned soon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
