According to KMOX, a section of the restaurant’s roof collapsed around 1:30 a.m. after the restaurant closed for business. No one was injured and the music store, which sits next door, did not become damaged.
Originally the Halls Ferry Inn, which was a family owned restaurant for more than 40 years, the restaurant transformed into the jazz café under Stiles’ ownership last fall.
