Four Men Charged for Conspiracy to Rob Florissant Bank

Anthony McCallister, Otis McCallister, Ray Anthony Bassett and Willie James Bassett Jr. all face criminal counts related to planning to rob Pulaski Bank last year.

A federal grand jury indicted four men Thursday morning for the conspiracy to rob a bank in Florissant last year.

Anthony McCallister, Otis McCallister, Ray Anthony Bassett and Willie James Bassett Jr. all face charges in relation to a conspiracy to rob a  November 4, 2011.

Anthony McCallister and Otis McCallister have each been indicted on a felony count of solicitation to commit a crime. Otis McCallister is currently serving a 37-year federal prison sentence for armed robberies of banks and credit unions in St. Louis.

Ray Anthony Bassett has been indicted for conspiracy to commit a bank robbery, attempted bank robbery, possession of a firearm and being previously convicted felon with a firearm. Willie James Bassett Jr. has been indicted on one felony count of conspiracy to commit bank robbery and attempted bank robbery.

If convicted, charges carry penalties ranging from five years to life in prison and fines up to $250,000.

Cindy, My (93 old) mom lives in the Walnut grove neighborhood and just got her phone back yesterday.Read More Florissant told her they would NOT come by. There are several neighbors with mounds of limbs on Milbank and Wadsworth. This has to be an error. Can you followup on this?
