Florissant Woman Killed in Crash on Earth City Expressway

A Florissant woman was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle collision.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Judy A. Balsat, 64, was riding in a Chevrolet Colorado heading northbound on the Earth City Expressway at about 7:20 p.m. when it collided with a pickup truck turning left from the southbound lanes onto Highway 370.

William E. Balsat, 66, also of Florissant, was driving the pickup. Judy died at the crash scene. The patrol said she was not wearing a seat belt. 

Adam M. Geninatti, 18, of New Douglas, Ill., was driving the pickup truck that made the left turn. He was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt.

Two passengers in Geninatti's truck, Logan J. Braun, 18, and Travis J. McCoy, 15, of Staunton, Ill., sustained minor injuries, the patrol said. They were also wearing seat belts.
