Florissant Woman Involved in Four Car Accident on Blanchette Bridge

Four cars, including one driver from the Florissant area, crashed into one another Wednesday morning on the Blanchette Bridge.

A 2001 Crown Victoria struck the rear of a 2007 Ford Contour that had stopped on the bridge, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

That accident created a domino effect, which caused a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Florissant resident Ruby Gregg to strike the Crown Victoria.

A SUV then hit the back of Gregg’s car.

Gregg, 71, suffered minor injuries and was taken to DePaul Hospital. She had been wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident, according to the report.
