Florissant Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident
Colleen Huggins was struck by a car, which took off after hitting her.
A Florissant women suffered moderate injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 70, just west of Interstate 270 Tuesday.
Colleen Huggins traveled on I-70 when a Jeep Laredo tried to merge into her lane, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report. She attempted to swerve into another lane and then hit her brakes and spun clockwise. The Jeep hit her car and then left the scene.
She was taken to Depaul Hospital. The report indicates she did not have a seat belt on at the time of the accident.
