Florissant Teen Charged With 2011 Pizza Delivery Robbery

Florissant Police said Torrence Henderson punched the driver while another displayed a handgun, taking a cell phone, $25 and a pizza.

An 18-year-old man was charged with punching and robbing a pizza delivery driver in October 2011 in Florissant.

Torrence Henderson, of the 1600 block of Arundel Lane in Florissant, was charged June 19 with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Florissant Police said a delivery driver was delivering a pizza to an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Christopher Lane Oct. 27, 2011 when three men came running up to him.

Police said Henderson punched the delivery driver, knocking him down. Another man displayed a small revolver, and the men demanded the driver’s property. Police said the men took his cell phone, $25 and a pizza.

Henderson is being held in St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $100,000.
