Florissant Residents Involved in Three-Car Accident on Blanchette Bridge

Two passengers suffer minor injuries in the accident.

A three-car accident on Interstate 70 of the Blanchette Bridge lead to minor injuries of two women, including a Florissant resident.

The accident occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday when a 2003 Ford Taurus hit a 2009 Dodge Journey, which was stopped for traffic. That collision resulted in the Journey striking a 2000 Ford Explorer, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s report.

All drivers wore safety belts.

Antoinette Andrews, 82 of Florissant, was taken to DePaul Medical Center for minor injuries. In addition, Ruby Brandon of Ferguson was also transported to the medical center.
