We sure hope these changes will FINALLY require the Florissant Police Department to do a better job and get rid of the NEGLIGENCE toward ignoring crimial investigations. We have 4 children abused over a 4 year period and NOTHING WAS DONE: NO POLICE REPORT, NO INVESTIGATION DESPITE SUBSTANTIATED CHILD ABUSE TO ONE OF OUR CHILDREN. OUR CHILDREN SUFFERED BROKEN BONES, BEING LOCKED IN THE BATHROOM, SEVERE MENTAL INJURY REQUIRING LIFE LONG TREATMENT. THE PEDIATRICIAN WAS NEVER CONTACTED ABOUT ANY OF THE INJURIES AND THE POLICE NEVER GOT THE RECORDS FROM THE PHYSICIAN. THE CHIEF OF POLICE IGNORED OUR CALL FOR A STOLEN PACKAGE BY THE PERPETRATOR'S GROWN DAUGHTER AND IT TOOK 8 MONTHS TO JUST GET A POLICE REPORT FOR THAT AND WHICH SHE WAS NOT EVEN BROUGHT IN FOR QUESTIONING. THIS IS ABSURD AND THE COMMUNITY NEEDS TO KNOW HOW SLOPPY AND NEGLIGENT THIS DEPARTMENT IS. WE DON'T WANT ANY OTHER FAMILIES TO HAVE TO SUFFER LIKE WE HAVE IN TRYING TO GET JUSTICE FOR OUR KIDS!!!
