Police apprehended a number of suspects last week.

Nov. 22

The police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 800 block of North Castello. Thieves broke the side door to enter the residence and stole jewelry and a gun. 

A first-degree robbery took place in the 3200 block of Cross Keys Drive. Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint on the parking lot of an apartment complex and took her purse. According to the report, the men were in their late teens and fled the scene in a dark blue, four-door car.

A 1995 burgundy GMC van was stolen in the 1200 block of Grandview Gardens Court. According to the police report, the car had a Missouri license plate and it read KC9-Z4U.

A Florissant man died from his injuries following a car accident. The accident occurred in the 1st block of Citation Court. The 81-year-old man had tried to get out of the vehicle as it begun to roll backwards. After being knocked to the ground by a door of the van, the vehicle ran over him. He was taken to the hospital but was not able to survive his injuries.

A second-degree burglary took place in the 2400 block of Pontchartrain. A burglar attempted to enter the residence through a rear garage door, but the security system may have frightened him off, according to the police report. Nothing was reported missing.

Nov. 24

Police arrested three juveniles who are believed to be involved in a first-degree robbery in the 2300 block of Grants Parkway. One of the juveniles approached the victim to ask for directions, and another one pulled out a gun and demanded money and their cell phone. The robbers fled, but officers caught them and took them into custody. All three were turned over to St. Louis County Family Court Detention Center, according to the police report. 

Nov. 25

Police arrested two people in connection with a first-degree burglary in the 1000 block of Flora. The burglars forced the front door open, but the resident interrupted them and they left in a gold Nissan. Police saw the car and stopped the on Charbonier near Roanoke and arrested them. According to the report, warrants are being sought.

In the 500 block of St. Christina, two men entered a residence through an unlocked back door. The resident interrupted, and the men fled. The men took nothing and the resident didn’t suffer from injuries, according to the report. The men were last seen running toward . 

Nov. 26

An attempted car theft happened in the 3200 block of Classic. The thief damaged the steering column of a 2000 Ford F-150.

Nov. 27

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Ermanda. Three juveniles attempted to burglarize a vacant residence. Police arrested them  and took them into custody.

Nov. 28

A car owner called the police and reported an attempted theft of their vehicle in the 14000 block of New Halls Ferry. The person said that someone attempted to steal their 1994 Chevrolet pick-up truck.
