Several burglaries took place in the community recently.

Oct. 18

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 2400 block of Blue Heron. Thieves forced open a rear sliding glass door to enter the residence. The victim reported coins and jewelry were taken and had only been gone for two hours.

A second-degree burglary took place in the 2700 block of Nottinghill Row. Thieves forced open the front apartment door. Nothing was taken, according to the report.

Oct. 19

Police responded to a second-degree robbery in the 2000 block of N. Highway 67. The suspect attempted to rob a fast-food restaurant in the vicinity, but the cashier escaped. The 20-year-old suspect also fled on foot, but police caught him in-between North Highway 67 and New Florissant Rd. No other information was available about the suspect at the time of the report.

Police arrested two juveniles as they were burglarizing a residence in the 3100 block of St. Catherine.Β 

Oct. 21

A first-degree burglary took place in the 1200 block of Bobolink. Burglars pried the side door of the residence open. The resident was home and asleep at the time. When the burglars discovered someone home, they fled and left in a dark blue, two-door car. The resident reported a cell phone and jewelry were stolen.

Oct. 22

A second-degree burglary took place in the 100 block of Graham Rd. Someone broke into two business around 6 a.m. According to the report, the burglar is a man in his mid-20’s, who was seen leaving wearing a red cap and a green or blue van.
