Several burglaries and a felony stealing incident took place in the last week.

Jan. 16

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 100 block of Calbreath Court. The burglar forced open the back door of the residence to enter. Two TVs, a gaming system and cash were taken.

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Cross Keys Drive. Two men left the apartment upon hearing the resident return to the apartment. No one was injured.

Jan. 18

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 800 block of Charbonier Road. The burglar entered through a bedroom window and stole a gaming system, jewelry and medications.

Jan. 19

Police found that someone had stolen copper pipe from a vacant home in the 900 block of Rogers Lane in the past two weeks.

A resident in the 600 block of Shadow Rock Drive saw someone walking away from her home with her purse, which was left in her unlocked car. She chased after the man, but lost sight of him in an apartment complex. Police are searching for the young man who was seen with a red hoodie that had a black hood over it.

Jan. 22

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 500 block of Bluff Parks Drive. The burglar forced open the front door and stole cash from the residence.
