A number of car thefts keeps Florissant police busy on Feb. 9.

Feb. 9

Police responded to a 2000 Dodge Intrepid that was stolen in the 2600 block of Lindsay Lane. During its initial investigation, officers discovered that a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan had been discovered in the 900 block of Armanda Court, which had been reported stolen in St. Louis County.

A 2008 silver Mazda 6 was stolen in the 1900 block of Mantilla.

In the 1300 block of Kael, thieves attempted to steal a 2006 Dodge Ram Crew Cab pick-up truck.

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 2300 block of Montezuma. Burglars forced open the front door of an apartment and stole jewelry.

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 2400 block of Buttonwood Court. According to the report, the thief entered through an unlocked door and stole jewelry.

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 800 block of Loyola. The person entered through an unlocked kitchen window and took a jar of change.

Feb. 12

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 800 block of St. Denis. The burglar forced open a back door, but the report said that nothing could be determined to be taken.
