A second-degree burglary is the sole crime in Florissant for the last week in May.

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 400 block of South Jefferson. The burglar entered the residence by cutting into a screen of a rear window, and jewelry was stolen. Police have not announced any suspects or problems.
