Jan. 7 led the way for a great deal of crime in Florissant last week.

Jan. 4

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 1000 block of Grenoble. The thief entered by removing the glass of a side door and stole a flat-screen TV, jewelry, camera and a gaming system.

A motor vehicle theft occurred in the 200 block of North Highway 67. The person stole the car from a used car sales business after asking for the keys to look at it. The man started the car and took off with it on southbound Lindbergh. The vehicle is a black 2006 Dodge Charger.

Jan. 7

Police discovered a burglary of copper pipe in a vacant residence in the 1000 block of Rogers.

A burglary occurred at 700 Robinwood. The person entered the residence through an unlocked window and stole a flat-screen TV.

Police responded to a burglary in the 2500 block of Flamingo. The person entered the residence by forcing open a garage door and then forcing open an interior door. The resident reported cash and jewelry had been stolen.

Another burglary occurred in the 1800 block of Layven. The intruder entered through an unlocked door and stole a laptop. 

Police responded to a car theft in the 12700 block of New Halls Ferry. The victim ran into a gas station while his car was running, and someone took off with it. The car is a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.
