Florissant Man Faces Third DWI Charge

The driver was charged as a persistent offender by St. Louis County prosecutors.

A Florissant man faces his third drunk driving charge in 16 years.

Donald Watson, 45, of the first block of Edgestone Court in Florissant, was charged Jan. 25 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender.

Florissant Police said officers pulled Watson over Edgestone Court at 12:52 a.m. Oct. 15, 2011 and arrested him for DWI.

Watson previously was found guilty of DWI Nov. 9, 2005 in St. Louis County Circuit Court and Sept. 30, 1996 in Bel-Ridge.

Bail was set at $7,500 for Watson.
