Florissant Man Exposed Himself to Woman, Police Say
David Wayne Trotter is a registered sex offender who was convicted of sexual abuse in 1993, police said.
A Florissant man is charged with sexual misconduct after a woman awoke to find him standing over her bed masturbating Sunday.
David Wayne Trotter, 54, of the 600 block of Pimlico Drive in Florissant, was charged Monday with second-degree sexual misconduct as a prior offender. Police said Trotter was convicted in 1993 on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse in Cape Girardeau.
Florissant Police said Trotter was standing over the woman’s bed in his home with his genitals exposed, and was masturbating. Police said the woman and Trotter never had a romantic or sexual relationship.

Trotter is a registered sex offender. According to a court document, he admitted to police he has a problem and cannot control his urges.
Bail for Trotter was set at $5,000.
