Florissant Man Charged With Selling Heroin to Undercover Officer

Terrell Caldwell, of Florissant, and Tyree Cannamore each are charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance.

Two men sold heroin to an undercover officer in St. Charles in August, police said.

Terrell Caldwell, 25, of the 600 block of Rosetta Drive in Florissant, and Tyree Cannamore, 22, of the 4300 block of College Avenue in St. Louis, each were charged Aug. 28Β with two counts of distributing a controlled substance.

St. Charles County Drug Task Force members an undercover officer met with Cannamore Aug. 22, met with Caldwell Aug. 26 and met with both men Aug. 27. The men sold the officer heroin at each meeting in the 1300 block of South Fifth Street in St. Charles, the officer reported.

The officer gave Cannamore $500 for heroin Aug. 27, and Cannamore handed it to Caldwell, police said. After the transaction, Drug Task Force members and St. Charles Police stopped their car and arrested the men. The $500 was recovered from the car.

Caldwell is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $30,000, cash only.

Cannamore posted $1,500, 10 percent of a $15,000 bond, and was released from St. Charles County jail Sept. 6 with several conditions. Cannamore must live with his mother, he must have a 10 p.m. curfew unless he is working that night and he is to have no contact with Caldwell.
