Florissant Man Bruised 5-Year-Old Son's Back, Police Say

A Florissant Police report says Christian Gander repeatedly hit his 5-year-old son, leaving bruises.

A Florissant man is accused of striking his 5-year-old son repeatedly and leaving bruises on the boy’s lower back.

Christian Gander, 38, of the 1100 block of Sansu Lane, was charged April 12 with endangering the welfare of a child.

Florissant Police said Gander struck the child, leaving bruises, at his home on Feb. 26, 2012.

Gander also is charged with violating a protection order for an adult on May 7, 2012 in Maryland Heights.
