Capt. Tim Lowery Promoted to Acting Major

Mayor Tom Schneider announced earlier this week the promotion.

This week, Mayor Tom Schneider announced the promotion of Florissant to major.

“After consulting with the other Captains in the department a conclusion has been reached that the and the Major Case Squad would benefit from the promotion of Captain Lowery to the rank of Acting Major effective [June 5],” according to the city’s press release. “Mayor Schneider and Chief [William} Karabas feel that this appointment is a testament to the dedication and expertise of Major Timothy J. Lowery.”

Lowery is the commander of the bureau of field operations and chief deputy commander for the State of Missouri for the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad.
