Florissant Police Bust Burglary Suspect by a Piccolo

Florissant Police said when the man was pulled over, he had a musical instrument stolen in a burglary inside his car.

Florissant Police said that when Ryan O. Holiday was pulled over, he had one piece of incriminating evidence in his car: a piccolo.

According to a police report. Holiday broke into a home in the 100 block of Taney Drive in Florissant between 10 and 10:43 a.m. June 6. Police said he took a computer, two televisions, a gold and pearl necklace, a gold and ruby necklace, a watch and a piccolo.

Florissant Police said a witness saw Holiday carrying items from the victim’s yard to a Ford Fusion on the day of the burglary.

Holiday, 19, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.

He is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
