Berkeley Man Charged in Florissant Burglary

Florissant Police said the 21-year-old man broke into a home in the 800 block of Thompson Drive Sept. 10.

A Berkeley man broke into a home in the 800 block of Thompson Drive on Sept. 10, according to a Florissant Police report.

Trevor Mays, 21, of the 1000 block of Alder Avenue in Berkeley, was charged Oct. 10 with first-degree burglary and stealing items valued at more than $500, a class C felony.

Florissant Police said Mays broke into the home and stole a 47-inch television and cash, with a total value of more than $500. Witness statements led officers to Mays, according to a police report.

Mays posted a $20,000 bond and was released from St. Louis County jail.
