A Missouri Endangered Person Advisory is still active for a man last seen at his home on Tuesday morning, Oct. 1.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the advisory for 82 year old R.V. Mandrell who has Alzheimer's disease.
Mandrell was last seen at his home in the 1700 block of New Jamestown Road north of Black Jack at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
His family reported him missing around 4:30 p.m., according to police. His son Scott Mandrell asks that people keep an eye out for him.
"We miss him SO much already," he said via his Facebook page. "I know that at any moment he's going to walk up the lane to the house. God works in mysterious ways. No matter what your spiritual flavor may be, I ask that everyone keeps hoping."
Mandrell is described as a white man, 5-foot-10 and weighing 155 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and shorts.
