Teen Charged with Setting Vehicle Fires in Paddock Hills

Three of the fires were set last week, and all were set in the same subdivision.

An 18-year-old man was charged Thursday with setting fire to three vehicles and a clothing storage box in Florissant's Paddock Hills subdivision.

Khadeem Ratcliff, who also lives in the Paddock Hills subdivision, faces four counts of knowingly burning or exploding, class D felonies, in St. Louis County Circuit Court.

  • A gray, 1991 Chevrolet van in the 1600 block of Gallop Lane on April 25;
  • A red, 2010 Ford pickup truck in the 1800 block of Banstead Drive June 4;
  • A clothing storage box owned by the Salvation Army in the Wednesday;
  • A gold, 1998 Toyota car in the 2400 block of Stirrup Lane Wednesday.

Police said in the report that Ratcliff admitted setting the fires.

Bond was set at $20,000.
