17-Year-Old Charged With Shooting Man After Fight

Ferguson Police said the bullet is lodge in the victim's back.

A 17-year-old Ferguson man is charged with shooting another man July 11 as the man drove away after a fight, police said.

Ferguson Police said Glen Sills fired shots at the man’s car as he drove away in a truck from Sills’ home July 11 in the 200 block of South Dade Avenue in Ferguson. Police said the men had just been fighting.

One of the shots struck the victim in the back, police said. The bullet was lodged in the victim’s back, according to a court document.

Sills, of the 200 block of South Dade Avenue in Ferguson, was charged July 12 with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $100,000.
