A 16-year-old Ferguson resident was certified to stand trial as an adult after Florissant Police said he helped rob the Circle K gas station in Florissant.
Kenneth Taper, 16, of the 6100 block of Behle Avenue in Ferguson, was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery.
Florissant Police said that Taper and Tanisha Grayer, 21, held up the Circle K, 1545 South New Florissant Road, at about 2:55 a.m. July 14.
Grayer was charged July 17 with the robbery.
Police said Grayer showed the clerk something that appeared to be a handgun as Taper demanded the cash. Taper took $52 from the register and the two left, according to the police report.
