Vote NOW: Let's Help de.lish Cheesecake Bakery and Café Put Florissant on the Map!

Jeff and Kristi Mullersman hope to put Florissant on the map by winning a contest that will offer their cafe and the city national coverage. You can help--and all you need to do is watch this YouTube video by Feb. 4.

Jeff and Kristi Mullersman, owners of local-favorite de.lish Cheesecake Bakery and Café, began following their dream when they opened their small restaurant in the old train station in Old Town Florissant.

The Mullermans, who also live nearby, , and these days, they bake and serve more than 30 different kinds of cheesecake. They also have homemade quiches, muffins, signature cupcakes, cookies and more.

Patch has been visiting de.lish since it opened, and we’ve never been disappointed. The Mullersmans are always happy to see their customers, and most of those customers agree that they make you feel like part of the family.

In fact, in August, the Florissant community proved how much they enjoy the food at de.lish when the establishment was voted Patch’s Best Bakery in St. Louis—beating out 11 other bakeries throughout the St. Louis area—with half of all the votes being cast in de.lish’s favor.

de.lish has also been recognized throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area from Sauce to Feast Magazine.

And now, the Mullersmans’ dream has taken another step toward securing its place in Florissant history.

de.lish has been nominated for yet another honor—and this one could really help them (and the City of Florissant) in a big way.

"We were filmed by Destination Guide's Best of St. Louis," said Jeff Mullersman. "They post it (on YouTube) and the St. Louis businesses featured compete for views."

Mullersman said de.lish is the only nominee from the City of Florissant.

"If we take the top spot, this would give us national TV coverage which is obviously good for us and Florissant," he said, adding that the community has been supportive of his business so far. "So, I'm asking for your help to bring some attention to it."

The video will be live through Feb. 4, Mullersman said.
