Mayor Tom Schneider of The City of Florissant Proclaims September 8-14, 2013 as National Assisted Living Week

Florissant, Missouri – City of Florissant’s Mayor Tom Schneider signed a proclamation designating September 8-14, 2013 as National Assisted Living Week in the City of Florissant.  By signing this proclamation, Mayor Schneider “urges all citizens to visit friends and loved ones who reside at these facilities” and “learn more about assisted living services and how they benefit our communities”.

National Assisted Living Week is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Center for Assisted Living, Washington D.C. and the Missouri Assisted Living Association (MALA).  The spotlight this year is “Homemade Happiness” which highlights opportunity to share with residents a multitude of events and activities that demonstrate how much we care for and love the seniors in the community.
