This week, our Facebook page grew to more than 375 likes, and our Twitter has more than 560 followers. So, thank you all for your continued support of our social media pages.
While we love all of your support, we’re talking about the perks of local businesses being on Facebook. While you can always visit our page for updates on news and ongoings, several of our local businesses have pages that you can follow, too.
For example, both school districts, Hazelwood and Ferguson-Florissant, have pages that are updated with news and information as well as news about cancellations and closings.
Then, there’s businesses such as Deleo’s Deli, which uses their page to promote a number of specials. de.lish Cheesecake Bakery and Café also uses its page to tell customers about the soup of the day, cheesecakes as well as new creations.
Some of the other businesses or organizations that can be found on Facebook, include:
- Greater North County Chamber of Commerce
- Accessible Play
- Andrea’s Boutique
- Dairy Queen
- Florissant Valley Fire Protection District
- Emerson Family YMCA
- The Boxing Gym Florissant
- City of Florissant
Also, don’t forget about Twitter.
You’re able to engage in live conversation with not only us, but government representatives, such as Lacy Clay (@LacyClay2012) or Mayor Tom Schneider (@TomPSchneider). Or, if you’re looking to just make your day brighter, there’s always the Weatherbird (@weatherbird).
