Severe Weather Observation & Safety Class

Attend a Free Severe Weather Training Program - It Could Save Your Life!

Do you know what to do in a severe weather emergency, for yourself, neighbors, and friends?  Learn about observing and reporting severe weather so that others may take precautions for their safety.  Learn severe weather safety and information that could save your life!

The training program is Saturday, March 23, 9:00AM to 4:00PM, at the Bellefontaine United Methodist Church, 10600 Bellefontaine Road, in the Fellowship Hall.  There is no charge for the program. 

Through pictures and video of severe weather and tornadoes, some from this area, learn what to "look for" and what to do.  Learn the signs of impending severe weather.  The program is presented by Mike Redman of the Traveling Weather Show who has presented hundreds of similar programs and has been teaching weather safety since the early 1970s.  All are welcome - prior registration is not required.

After the weather of Friday evening, perhaps a severe weather observation and safety class should be a consideration. If you are not sure what to do, or how to react to the clouds you see, these classes would help immeasurably.

Cindy, My (93 old) mom lives in the Walnut grove neighborhood and just got her phone back yesterday.Read More Florissant told her they would NOT come by. There are several neighbors with mounds of limbs on Milbank and Wadsworth. This has to be an error. Can you followup on this?
