4 Metabolism Boosters

Eating five to six small meals per day boosts metabolism and can help control cholesterol.

If you don't increase your body's metabolism, you won't be able to burn the fat you want to get rid of.

So how can you boost your metabolism, lose inches, and eliminate that belly fat?

Of course, you should know by now that your metabolism slows down with age?  But...if you follow the tips I outline below you'll speed up your metabolism.

1) Strength training

Strength training is the key should to any fat loss program. It boosts metabolism up to 10% after a training session.  The lean muscle that strength training helps you build will firm and tone your body like nothing else out there.  Strength training is a must for your fat-blasting workout routine.

2) Breakfast

Eat Your Breakfast - I love to eat breakfast; it is the fuel that I need to start my day. You too need the fuel to get your engine going in the morning. Do not starve your body early; because you may have the tendency to binge-eat later. Your body gets into the craving mode. Feed your body early!! Research shows eating breakfast is associated with successful weight loss. Breakfast increases metabolism because it breaks your overnight fast.

3) Eating every 2-3 hours after breakfast

Eating five to six small meals per day boosts metabolism and can help control cholesterol. Break your meals up into smaller meals that can be eaten over the course of the day. This one simple tactic can be the difference between becoming a fat burner or a fat storer. By eating more often and eating the right types of foods you can keep your energy levels throughout the day, and ensure that you are not getting those mid-afternoon yawns and also help keep the excess weight off.

4)  Interval cardio training

Interval training causes a greater increase in post- exercise metabolism than regular cardio.  It doesn't really matter how many calories you burn during a workout, what matters most is how much you burn after the workout.  Interval programs lead to more weight loss than a long, slow cardio training program.

Hard work and proper nutrition burn more calories and help you lose fat. On the other hand, magic pills and new fad diets just don't work. But that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

It’s very simple!

Add strength training, intervals, mini-meals, and breakfast to your weight loss plan and you'll burn body fat fast thanks to your increased metabolism.
