Spread Some Cheer with The Noel Project

Want to make a difference this holiday season? Partner with The Noel Project to help local Florissant families who are struggling this Christmas.

The Christmas Season is upon us. During this busy time of year we look to find ways to get our family focused not just on what our kids want for Christmas, but instead on blessing those who have less than we do. One fun thing we have done the past several years was to participate in The Noel Project.

The Noel Project blesses more than a hundred local families in need with gifts of toys and food. The Project is organized through First Christian Church of Florissant, for more visit www.fccf.org.

This is a community-wide event, and those living in our area will come together to make all of this possible. On October 31, Jana Elementary students paraded to First Christian, dropping off dozens of wagons filled with food. Hundreds of people from all over North County will purchase gifts to give to children. Dozens more volunteers will be serving on the day of the Noel Project Program, Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 am to make it a fun and meaningful day for the families involved.

Want to help?

  • Purchase a toy for a child, boy or girl, ages newborn to 15 years. Having your child pick out the toy(s) is a great way to teach generosity!
  • Make a financial contribution. Turkeys and groceries are given to all the families, and funds are needed to help to cover this expense. (Make checks payable to First Christian Church of Florissant and note: Noel Project. Send to 2890 Patterson Road, Florissant, MO 63031)

How exactly are families chosen for this project? The church has partnered with several local elementary schools, and school counselors select families dependent on their financial needs.
