Week in Review: Pizza Delivery Man Shot to Death, Boeing Cutting Jobs and Election Coverage

• Kevin Thompson, a former director of Good Shepherd Children and Family Services in University City, has been sent to prison for 15 years for sodomizing a foster child who lived with him at his home in Hazelwood. 
• Boeing is cutting 10 percent of defense unit execs as it aims to realize $1.6 billion in savings.
• Just a little more than two months into his position as interim Hazelwood School District (HSD) superintendent, the district has named Grayling Tobias as the new head of schools. Meanwhile, Steve Price will continue to receive his salary until he finds new employment.
• A man tried to steal a brief case at a gas station at North Highway 67 and Old Halls Ferry Road in North County.
• President Obama defeated Republican Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election.
• In a win that surprised no one, Rep. William Lacy Clay defeated his Republican challenger Robyn Hamlin in Missouri's First Congressional District.
• A North County woman was discovered concealing stolen information that would have been used to steal identities of seven people.
• A witness spotted an 18-year-old North County man and a juvenile carrying televisions from a residence in unincorporated North County.
• A 17-year-old man has been accused of shooting and killing an Imo’s Pizza delivery driver Monday in Dellwood.
• A West County resident was shot to death while delivering pizzas earlier this year. Now, a North County pizza delivery driver murder reportedly has St. Louis County police going undercover to catch criminals.
• A North County drove his car into a police patrol car June 14 near Jana Elementary School in the Hazelwood School District.
• Florissant resident Zachary Thomas Cook was sentenced to 22 years in prison in the death of his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son.
• A Florissant homeowner grabbed a juvenile who was trying to leave his home through a window while carrying a television Oct. 29.
• Colorado and Washington voters said yes to measures to legalize marijuana. Could it ever happen here? Petitions have been circulated in University City and elsewhere in the Show-Me State. Would you support it?
