Value City Construction Gets Underway

The $10 million project is slated to open this fall.

Previously, Mayor Tom Schneider announced that Ashley Furniture Homestore, Ulta Salon Products and Services and Five Below would be going into the new development and Panda Express into the outlot.

He also said that two other local stores would be moving, and a sign outside of the development indicates that will be one of the stores moving down the street.

A recent press release from Mayor Schneider’s office said that the $10 million development would be opening in September or October.

I've never seen a Panda Express outside of a mall food court, and that suits me fine.

Great....another place that sells beauty products. Never mind that there is Royal Beaty Supply across the street, and Beauty Brands up the road, and last I checked more than 70 other places to get that stuff in Florissant alone! Don't mind my grumpy sarcasm. I'll still be taking the bus to Brentwood to get computer parts.

Why does Michaels need to move down the road? And what is going to go where Michaels is now or are we going to have another empty building in Florissant?
