Inside the New 'hhgregg' Store; Opens By Labor Day

The AC is on, the automatic-open doors are working.

The appliance-electronics store hhgregg looks nearly finished on the outside, and Wednesday, workers were putting what looked like the last of the fixtures inside, in Chesterfield Valley.

All the Chesterfield store needs now, from the looks of it, are products to sell and 60 employees. Check out the hhgregg website for jobs and hiring.

The hhgregg is located next door to Turn in and to locate the shopping center in the back.

The chain stores moved into Chesterfield Valley and three other locations in the St. Louis area this year. All stores previously were East of the Mississippi River and south of the Great Lakes.

The 57-year-old chain is named after its founder Henry Harold Gregg.

Really, how can they compete with Best Buy when Circuit City and Ultra Electronics could not?

While I know nothing about it and have no inside info, hope springs eternal, as the saying goes.

Compete with best buy? Lol best buy cant even compete with them selves. We will see how they do. Difference in hhgreg and best buy in stl is they are spread out and they have people that want to sell because its there paycheck. Best buy employees get paid either way. Ultimate had no merchmerch to sell compared.. City was run down drain by corp idiots.
