Restaurant Inspections: Mr. Yac's Cleans Up Its Act for Follow-Up Inspection

Plus, the inspector visits two area McDonald's restaurants, Dave & Buster's and more.

Each week, Florissant Patch publishes information from the local restaurant inspections of St. Louis County Department of Health as well as their grade.

Here are some of the latest restaurant inspections from the past 90 days:

Comments: Person in charge was able to provide proof of Serve Safe certificate. The door sweep on the back exit door located in the kitchen has been repaired. Employee restroom  needed a lid on the trashcan previously. Enclosed trashcan is now in employee restroom. Previous violations corrected.

Comments: Observed hepatitis A shot records for employees at time of inspection. Violation corrected. Observed shatterproof light bulb above door. Violation corrected.

Comments: There was no handwashing soap at hand sink. Unknown chemical missing a label. Chemical mislabeled. Gasket on reach-in cooler damaged. Hand sink faucet loose. Wall damage by mop sink. Coving damage throughout. Door on cabinet broken. Follow-up inspection required.

Comments: Cutting board stabilized on a damp wiping cloth; Hand sink in server alley has no hot water. Maintenance adjusted, violation corrected on-site.

Grade: 94 - A
Comments: No hand soap or paper towels at the employee hand sink. Shell eggs and raw chicken stored above and/or in close proximity to other foods. No sanitizer products in place for cleaning of food contact surfaces and/or equipment.

Cindy, My (93 old) mom lives in the Walnut grove neighborhood and just got her phone back yesterday.Read More Florissant told her they would NOT come by. There are several neighbors with mounds of limbs on Milbank and Wadsworth. This has to be an error. Can you followup on this?

Paul I am sorry I just got the message, If you did not get your problem solve, call City Hall again,Read More Because I was told you would be put on a list for limbs being pick up, Call 921-5700, let them know what your mom has.
