Restaurant Inspections: Deaver's Has Complaint, Routine Inspection Handled

We’re changing up our restaurant inspections a tad bit.

We've expanded our inspections to surrounding areas, including Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights and Hazelwood. 

Each week, Florissant Patch publishes information from the local restaurant inspections of St. Louis County Department of Health as well as their grade.

Here are the latest restaurant inspections for the past 90 days: 

Deaver’s

Comments: A former employee complained that he had seen a number of violations at the restaurant while he worked there, and he had recently been let go. The inspector went out for a routine inspection and saw violations in the cold hold prep bar, but no problems with employees handling food. Employee Hepatitis A records were not available for viewing. Inspector noticed between seven and ten flies in kitchen area. No date marking system noticed for hazardous foods.
