: Purchasing Agent
Pay: $43,597 – $60,382 and competitive benefits
Description: Prepare and coordinate bid requests for the purchase of goods and services, coordinate advertisement, addenda, bid openings, and filing of bid documents, administer city purchasing cards; train card holders; audit purchases and monthly statements, coordinate the disposal of city surplus property, maintain procurement records, including bid documents, vehicle titles, and maintenance records, and perform related duties.
Requirements: An Associate’s degree required, a Bachelor’s degree and professional certification are preferred, two years relevant experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of city purchasing processes for Missouri municipalities, ability to be bonded.
