Florissant Restaurant Inspections: Follow-Up Inspections Remain Popular

Three restaurants have been recently cited for follow-up inspections by St. Louis County Health Department.

Each week, Florissant Patch publishes information from the local restaurant inspections of St. Louis County Department of Health as well as the restaurants' grade.

Here are the latest restaurant inspections for the past 90 days:

Date of Inspection: Aug. 4

Type of Inspection: Routine

Risk Factor: 1

Grade: A-95

Comments: At minimum, there should be one person with a food safety certificate place on each shift; incomplete Hepatitis A records; torn gasket seal in bar reach-in cooler

*Follow-up inspection scheduled for Aug. 25


Date of Inspection: Aug. 8

Type of Inspection: Routine

Risk Factor: 2

Grade: A-92

Comments: Chemical spray bottle not labeled; incomplete Hepatitis A records; hood filters have debris buildup; chest freezer lid needs repair; health permit has expired and must be renewed as soon as possible.

Candiez Restaurant and Grill

Date of Inspection: July 6

Type of Inspection: Routine

Risk Factor: 2

Grade: A-96

Comments: Incomplete Hepatitis A records

Risk Factor: 2

Grade: A-98

Comments: Hepatitis A records not maintained in clear, concise manner; plates and other wares stored improperly; refrigerators and coolers have stains and debris on them and should be cleaned regularly.

Cindy, My (93 old) mom lives in the Walnut grove neighborhood and just got her phone back yesterday.Read More Florissant told her they would NOT come by. There are several neighbors with mounds of limbs on Milbank and Wadsworth. This has to be an error. Can you followup on this?

Paul I am sorry I just got the message, If you did not get your problem solve, call City Hall again,Read More Because I was told you would be put on a list for limbs being pick up, Call 921-5700, let them know what your mom has.
