Hazelwood School District Cancels Graduation Ceremonies

The seniors will have to wait one more day to walk across the stage.

Hazelwood School District has cancelled its graduation ceremonies scheduled for Saturday.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis campus lost power due to a storm Friday night, so the graduations had to be cancelled, according to a media advisory by the school district.

The ceremonies have been moved to Sunday at the same times for each school: Hazelwood East High School ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. Hazelwood West High School will be held at 2:30 p.m. Hazelwood Central High School will be held at 7 p.m.
