Lunch Money Goes Digital for Ferguson-Florissant

Parents can now upload an account online for their children's school meals.

The Ferguson-Florissant School District has updated the way that parents send milk money to school.

PayPams will allow parents to pay for meals online or by phone for the student’s account. From there, parents can track what their child buys to eat, how much money is on the account and even set up automatic payments.

The user-friendly system will have a $1.95 service fee for each time funds are uploaded to the account. PayPams will not replace the traditional method of paying by check or cash.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this convenient way for parents and caregivers not only to pay for their child’s meals at school, but to also monitor the food choices their child makes at school,” Ferguson-Florissant’s chief financial officer Laura Modrusic said in a press release.

The district has provided simple, step-by-step instructions for parents or guardians who are interested in using the system for the school year.
