It's Time for Wednesday Night Out

The Wednesday, Aug. 28 theme is luau inspired. The event kicks off in front of Stems Florist.

For residents looking for a little midweek fun in their community, Wednesday Night Out is back for an Aug. 28 luau.

Kati Mahoney, manager of Florissant Old Town Partners, previously told Patch that the purpose of the event is to bring out the community for a night of fun.

Each year, the Florissant Old Town Partners along with area businesses host a night out for residents and their families to enjoy one another, as well as Old Town Florissant.

The Wednesday, Aug. 28 theme is luau inspired. The event kicks off in front of Stems Florist. The night will also feature fun and games, including a Weber barbecue grill raffle and prizes for best island outfit and limbo contest. Also, free leis will be handed out.

For more information on the event, check out the Florissant Old Town Partners website. The fun begins at 6 p.m.
