Remember 9/11 in Florissant with VFW Post 4105

How to you plan to commemorate 9/11 this year? The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at 410 Rue St. Francois.

If you are a looking for a local way to remember the 9/11 events, spend Sept. 11 with your neighbors and VFW Post 4105.

The post will host a ceremony at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the post meeting room, located at 410 Rue St. Francois, to commemorate the 12 year anniversary of terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and U.S. citizens.

As with each year, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary President Pat Cheatham and Post 4105 Commander Tony Laprocina have invited Florissant Mayor Tom Schneider to be the featured speaker.

Florissant veterans and service organizations are invited to attend this event.

It is also open to the public.

Fire departments from across North County are invited out to help pay tribute to their fallen comrades.
