Kicking Off the Summer Reading Season

The St. Louis County Library, Florissant Valley Branch hosts fiction book sale Friday and Saturday.

Florissant residents have an opportunity to stock up on books for the summer at the St. Louis County Library, . 

The branch will host a fiction book sale on Friday and Saturday. A wide variety of books will be on sale including those for kids, adults and teens, as well as a range of titles. People will even catch some former best-selling titles available for sale.

Branch manager Laura Kasak said the proceeds of the fund go toward the branch’s programming fund, which will benefit the teen programs. Past proceeds of sales have helped in bringing in speakers and providing other programming.

The branch’s coordinated the book sale. The sale will run 1 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday.
