Get Your Pet's Photo Taken With Santa Today at Florissant Petco

"Your Friendly Neighborhood Fish Guy" will be on Santa duty at Petco three days this month, including Saturday.

In addition to his stop at Florissant City Hall today to visit with local kids and help with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa will also be at Petco Super Store on North Lindbergh in Florissant to catch up with your “furry kids.”

Jim Lovins, who formerly worked with Beldt’s Aquarium and the St. Louis Zoo and who is also known as “Your Friendly Nighborhood Fish Guy,” will be on Santa duty.

Pets and family members are invited to pose for photos with Santa, which will be sold for $8.95.

“All of the proceeds will be donated to local animal shelters,” Lovins said. “All species are welcome, including humans.”

Lovins added that there will also be a raffle to benefit local shelters that will include featured items such as an autographed official Marc Bulger Rams jersey and other autographed Rams items, plus a hockey stick used in a game and autographed by Blues Player Barrett Jackman. Other items include Cardinals tickets for the upcoming season, restaurant gift certificates, pet gift baskets and more.

“Help me and Petco to help the animal kingdom during this season of giving,” Lovins said. “I hope to see all of my friends with their ‘animal family members’”

Santa will visit Petco three days this month, including today, Saturday, December 8th from 1 - 3 p.m., Sunday, December 9th from 2 to 4 pm, and again on Saturday, December 15th from 12 - 2 pm.
