Mayor Thanks Community Members, Jay Leno for Success of Senior New Year's Eve Party

Florissant Mayor Thomas P. Schneider offered his gratitude to several local organizations and community members for making the annual event a hit before publicly thanking the late-night talk show host.

The annual Senior New Year's Eve Party at the James J. Eagan Center was once again the best party of the year, according to a release from the office of Mayor Thomas P. Schneider.

“One of the largest gatherings ever hosted at the Eagan Center was entertained by the Michael Lacy Band and was catered by Tornatores,” the mayor’s office said. “Senior Coordinator Peggy Hogan and all of the great members of the Senior Advisory Commission worked tirelessly to create a ballroom atmosphere enjoyed by all.”

Mayor Schneider offered a word of thanks to all the businesses and organizations that sponsored the event and donated prizes.
