The Bridge At Florissant: “Homemade Happiness”
Florissant, Missouri–In observance of National Assisted Living Week®, September 8 to 14, The Bridge At Florissant will host a series of events developed as a special opportunity to bring together residents, families, employees, volunteers and the surrounding community to celebrate “Homemade Happiness.”
The “Homemade Happiness” theme acknowledges the contributions of staff, residents, and families’ in making the assisted living community a home for residents.

“This year’s theme celebrates the bond created by staff, residents, and families as they build warm, welcoming, and vibrant homes for residents,” said Rachel Giffhorn, General Manager. “This weeklong celebration demonstrates the commitment assisted living professionals feel when providing care and services to residents in their communities.”

Garden Plaza Community Appreciation Event, Saturday, September 7, 10 AM to 2 PM: Enjoy free hotdogs and chicken kabobs, snow cones, kettle corn, games and prizes!
Homemade Cookies and Treats Open House, Monday, September 9, 4-6 PM: Enjoy homemade baked goods and learn about assisted living services.
Rummy Tournament, Tuesday, September 10, 2-3 PM: Prizes for the victors of a friendly rummy roundhouse.
What Are The Options, Tuesday, September 10, 5-6:30 PM: For Financial representative to enjoy some homemade baked goods and learn about assisted living services.
Musical Entertainment with Dan Sproat, Thursday, September 11, 1:30-2:30 PM: Enjoy the beautiful weather and sweet melodies of Dan as he croons the familiar tunes you love.
Lemonade and Lessons on the Lanai, Friday, September 12, 3-4 PM: Our gorgeous, flower-filled lanai is the best place to discuss hot topics while enjoying a cool and refreshing beverage!
